While powder coating makes things look pretty when new if you use your rock sliders the powder coating will quickly become damaged. Better is a paint like Rustoleum Hammered which can be touched up when ever needed. While I have not used these sliders they appear to be robust as most others and utilize the factory attachment points. The slider also extends beyond the rocker panel with I feel provides better protection to the side of the FJ and can also be used as a step to access the rood rack.
