All Pro Bumper Mods – Re-Install Day 1

I got my All Pro Bumper back from the powder coater today.
The bumper finish looks OK. I learned that the sandblasting will not take out  grinder marks so the bumper finish now has a little personality.

I now have the bracket for the winch solenoid welded in:

I also welded the backing plates for the light bar in place:

I contoured the bumper wings so they can no longer contact the sheet metal, added a brace and light tabs for mounting my fog lights:

The Winch has been reinstalled:

With the bumper back on the FJ you can see how I have modified the bumper wing so it no longer goes under the sheet metal:

This fix is critical. There is a brace that holds the outer fender sheet metal and is welded with 2 spot welds. . On my FJ this brace had been broken loose which I feel was caused by the bumper making contact with the sheet metal and pushing it up.

As I finish out this reinstall I will post additional entries.
