With our rally point being Seattle Washington at Kent’s house I chose to make this part of the trip as fast as possible. With the trailer loaded and stashed in the garage I was able to hookup and head of of town before first light. It is trips like this that the Interstate Highway system really are made for.
Being solo I chose to make the drive as one push with stops in rest areas for a little shut eye lulled by the rumble of the semi engines.

I love seeing the wind farms on the drive through Wyoming. They represent alternative energy in action. Utah, Idaho and Oregon went by as a blure with me arriving in Seattle late afternoon on the second day.
