On Saturday I took delivery of our new 2010 Iceberg White Toyota FJ Cruiser. This is the start of a new project vehicle and I will be posting about ALL the modifications.
The FJ is currently configured with the following options (Items that I wanted are bold and items that will be removed are in italics):
- CQ Convenience Package – Remote keyless entry system, cruise control, power outside mirrors with illuminated markers, rear privacy glass, rear wiper, spare tire cover, backup camera linked to an electrochromic mirror with integrated backup camera monitor
- UR Upgrade Package 2 – 17-in. 6-spoke alloy wheels with P265/70R17 tires and full-size spare (exterior rear door mount), Active Traction Control (A-TRAC) (4WD models), locking rear differential, 115V/400-watt power outlet, AM/FM/MP3 6-disc in-dash CD changer with nine speakers (includes subwoofer with off switch), exterior color-keyed door trim inserts, multi-information display floating ball type (inclinometer, compass, temperature), leather-wrapped steering wheel with integrated audio controls, silver-tone accents on shift and transfer levers (accents only on models with automatic transmission, transfer lever on 4WD models), and Rear Intuitive Parking Assist

- 5L Rock Rails
- DH Towing hitch & wiring harness
- EL Armrest – Passenger Side
Toyota Options not included to be ordered and installed:
- RS3000 alarm system to be installed
- Toyota Rubber Floor Mats
The total purchase price was $34,000.00 (including all fees) with an extended warranty included. We purchased the FJ from our local Toyota Dealer “Toyota of Colorado Springs”. Our first FJ Cruiser was purchased from this dealer and I have been very happy with their support and service.
I will getting started on the modifications this week and will document the cost and process for each mod that we do.
