Here I am blogging from a remote camp site in the middle of Nevada. Since last Thursday LJ and I have been on a road trip. The first stop was my Mothers 80th birthday in Novato, CA. We spent 4 days visiting with family and enjoyed a trip to the beach and to the Headlands.

Leaving Novato we planed on taking the Rubicon. Instead we spent a half day driving to the top on Walker Rock. After a night of bug bites we decided to head back out.  We did not feel like beating our selves up for the next 2 day. More on this short excursion when we get back.

On Friday we are off to look for some rock hunting sites along highway 50.
