Bunton Wind River Range – Review

After using the Brunton Wind River Range for a full summer of adventure travel I can say that the stove is tops. We used the stove for about 25 days of camping and cooking this season. The stove performed flawlessly and was always ready to go. The highest camp was about 11,000 feet and the stoves performance was not degraded at all.

Setup in Camp(I put the stove through the abuse of being stowed in the trailer next to metal amo cans and other gear. On rocky trails the trailer is a ruff place to ride and the stove shows the scars from this treatment.Front Showing Wear

With all the banging around the stove shows wear but is not damaged at all. The hinge and clamps function at 100% and the inside of the stove shows the use but is holding up very well.

Clamps

My only cpmplaint is that I have found that it is hard to get a low simmer out of the stove and will be adding a heat diffuser to my kitchen gear. This is a problem with most if not all camp stoves.

Inside shows the use

Though expensive, I am very pleased with the purchase of this stove. It has held up well and will be with us for many years of camp cookiing.
